CARD NUMBER ENCRYPTER

Since 1997 we have employed a completely trouble-free method of handling e-mailed credit and debit card orders, based on a MasterCard and Visa card number encrypter temporarily put in your computer when loading this page. Use it, then include only the encrypted number in an e-mailed order. Since encryption is finished and the encrypter deleted before you write the e-mail, the actual card number cannot get on the Internet. And unauthorized decryption of a number in an e-mail interception is essentially impossible because, in contrast to decryption of text, the interceptor cannot tell when decryption is achieved. But if you would rather not use the encrypter and e-mail please send us your order by phone, fax, or post.

To use the encrypter click the box labeled Your Card Number and then type your card number, following these rules:
  • Use the format 0000 0000 0000 0000, with four groups of four digits and with the groups separated by one space.
  • Spaces before or after the four groups are not allowed.

Check for typing errors, then click the Encrypt button.

Your Card Number:

Encrypted Number:

A few older browsers cannot run the program and will not produce an encrypted number. If you do obtain one the program is running properly and the encrypted number is correct. In fact, the program can then produce five other correctly encrypted numbers from a single card number if you continue clicking
Encrypt. None of them start with the Visa 4 or the MasterCard 5 (or the Discover 6) to make it clear that they are not valid card numbers. We can decrypt your card number from any of these encrypted numbers.

Make a note of the encrypted number and specify this number, whether it is a Visa or MasterCard, and the card's expiration date, in an e-mail containing all of the other information required for an order. (If you drag the pointer over the encrypted number while depressing the mouse button, then click Edit and then Copy, to put the number in the e-mail you will write all you will need to do is click Edit and then Paste.)
