People buying new copies of programs or add-ons have no need for updates because software sold to new users has the latest issues of the program files and/or data files. Each update includes all changes made in earlier issues of the update. All the Cornell July 18, 2007 corrections for the 6th edition of The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World and their October 8, 2007 taxonomy, nomenclature and range description updates and corrections are in our October 15, 2007 BirdBase Species Updates, BirdArea Species/Ranges Updates, and Subspecies Add-On Update. As stated above, our October 15, 2007 updates are in all newly purchased copies of BirdBase, BirdArea, and the All Subspecies Add-On. The BirdBase Species Updates and the BirdArea Species/Ranges Updates can be installed in older copies of BirdBase and BirdArea only after the Program Updates of March 1, 2007 or later have been installed. This restriction also applies to the All Subspecies Add-On and its Update, the Mammal Data Add-On and its Update, and the Pocket PC Add-On.
